Leslie Wright is a co-lead pastor at LifeWay Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio. She is married to Travis and they have four children. Leslie has been in ministry for over 20 years, and she is passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus Christ. She is also a gifted communicator and teacher.
Leslie grew up in a Christian home and she has been in love with Jesus since she was a little girl. At the age of 14, she felt a call to the mission field and she gave her full yes to God. After graduating from Bible school, she and her husband Travis felt the tug from the Holy Spirit to come back home. They didn’t expect home to be the mission field they were headed to, but God birthed a love and fire in them for New Philadelphia and Tuscarawas county.
Leslie and Travis have been youth pastors at LifeWay Church for 8 years and co-lead pastors for the last 4.5 years. Their journey has been full of glory in birthing their four babies, learning Jesus through deep grief, and seeing Jesus do the miraculous right before their eyes and in their hearts.
Leslie is passionate that all will know Jesus Christ. She believes that He is everything and she is excited to share His love with others. She is a gifted communicator and teacher, and she is always looking for new ways to reach people with the gospel
